Rollover Accident Pipe Hauler I-25 CSFD

On October 22, 2013, Colorado Fire Department responded to a report of traffic accident on Interstate 25, near Cimarron Street. This turned out to be a semi-truck rollover, which lost it's load of large pvc pipes. Pipes and debris covered both northbound and southbound lanes, causing the need for the Interstate to be shutdown. Only minor injuries were reported with this crash. The truck crashed northbound I-25 just before exit 141 to Cimarron Street. Randy's Towing and CDOT Personnel worked for hours to clean up the debris. Two heavy duty tow trucks from Randy's were used to upright the crashed semi. Traffic was snarled for hours as crews worked on the cleanup phase of the accident. A Colorado Department of Transportation snow plow and sweeper truck assisted in the cleanup on the highway.
