The driver of a tractor-trailer, loaded with large, cylindrical, bales of hay, loses control and flips over, on a challenging curve on Interstate 25 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. A compact vehicle was crushed by the large hay bales coming off the truck as it flipped. Thankfully, no injuries were reported after the collision. Southbound Interstate-25 traffic was snarled for hours during the cleanup. A CSFD firefighter, is seen putting the booster line back in service on the fire engine that was used for safety during the diesel fuel containment phase of the accident.
I happened to be a few blocks away from the scene, in downtown Colorado Springs, when the traffic accident was first dispatched by 911.
