Wildland Fire Cimarron Hills FD Peterson RD
Cimarron Hills Firefighters responding to a wildland fire off Galley Road and U.S. Highway 24 in El Paso County, Colorado, USA.
Just before 6PM, Saturday, January 19, 2013, Cimarron Hills Fire Protection District was dispatched to a possible wildland fire near Galley and Peterson Road in Eastern El Paso, County. When fire crews arrived, they determined there was limited vehicle access to get to the fire. Mutual aid was requested from Falcon Fire and Colorado Springs Fire for additional crews and resources to fight the fire. The fire was brought under control in a reasonable amount of time. The fire was contained to the field it originated in and no structures were threatened.
