House Fire-Sioux Cir-Colorado-CHFD

Date of Incident: 12/14/2014 House Fire
Cimarron Hills Fire Protection District-El Paso County, Colorado

Cimarron Hills Fire Department was dispatched just after 4:00 PM to a report of a structure fire in the 7200 block of Sioux Circle South. Fire Engine 1311 arrived on a 2-story residential structure with light smoke showing from the roof. Mutual aid companies from Colorado Springs, Peterson Air Force Base, and Falcon Fire, were also dispatched to the incident. Once crews searched the home it was determined that there was a fire in the attic space. Firefighters opened up the roof and interior crews extinguished the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation and there were no injuries.
