House Fire-Neal Court-CSFD

Colorado Springs Fire Department-House Fire on Neal Court
At 16:23 Colorado Springs Firefighters were dispatched to a possible structure fire at 4425 Fountain Springs Grove. Multiple RP's reported smoke coming from a house on Neal Court. While responding CSFD Truck 8 reported that there was a working house fire and responded toward the smoke. First due Fire Engine 8, arrived on scene of a single family home, with heavy smoke showing, at the 4300 block of Neal Court. CSFD Engine 8 hooked to hydrant and advanced a 1 & 3/4" line to make an offensive fire attack on the home. Colorado Springs Police Officers blocked the road to protect the water supply line. While doing a primary search, Truck 8's team discovered a hole in the floor that opened into the basement. Colorado Springs Firefighters brought the fire under control in about 15 minutes. Interior searches proved negative of occupants and no injuries were reported on this incident. CSFD Fire Investigators were called to the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
