On June 5, 2012 an accident occured involving a tractor trailer and a Nissan Altima. This took place at Fountain (24) and Academy Park Loop in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Extrication tools were used to cut and remove the roof of the car to get better access to the patient. The intersection was shut down for hours as crews worked to collect all the recycle type trash the truck was hauling. Three heavy duty tow trucks were called in to upright the truck from its' side.
