On December 26, 2012, Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to a home that was reportedly filling with smoke, with smoke detectors activating. The first engine company on scene reported smoke coming from the rear of the structure. Command was established and the scene was declared a working structure fire. Firefighters worked to control the fire with an offensive interior attack. All occupants made it safely to the outside of the home. No injuries were reported on this incident.
